Natalia Skvortsova

Natalia Skvortsova is a well-known Russian jazz pianist, celebrated composer and arranger, music teacher, leader of Live People Ensemble and “the face of Russian Jazz Underground” (Rolling Stone magazine).
Live People Ensemble – probably the first contemporary jazz band in the history of Russia – was created in 2005 in Moscow. It performs both original pieces, written by Natalia Skvortsova, and jazz standard covers. Natalia's music is published by FANSYMUSIC – an independent original music label. In 2013, we released two albums (The Movement and The New Cities). At the end of 2015, we presented the last one titled Planes, welcomed with great enthusiasm by critics and placed on Europe Media Jazz Chart.
